After we’ve been out to site and gathered all the information we need, we will begin the design process with our design team in the Melbourne office. To aid in the visualisation of the project we can create virtual 3D designs for early concepts and later, 3D models for sports surface construction.

Each year we are beginning to face more extreme climates, and ultimately, we are seeing the impact this is causing on sports surfaces across Australia. It’s time to get prepared and begin initiating plans to combat this at the design phase. We’ll come out to your site and conduct all relevant site assessments including geo-tech, environmental and facility usage assessments. We investigate soil profiles and review environmental factors such as local climate and any impact that may have on the turf surfaces.

During the design process, our specialist consultants will offer advice on the best solutions for your new or existing drainage and irrigation needs. We will assist with design of levels, and pick-up of pipework or drainage lines during construction.

Document prep

Document prep

The design phase includes the development of required CAD drawings, documentation of all specifications, assessments and tenders. We will assist in gathering all the required paperwork to begin the project. This can also include cost-estimates and recommended project budgets.

UTas Stadium Redevelopment

UTas Stadium was established in 1921 in the flood plain of the North Esk River in Launceston, Tasmania. It is a prominent landmark of North East Tasmania that attracts a wide range of elite sporting fixtures from Big Bash Cricket matches for both men and women, to Tasmanian Premier League and AFL matches.
